The Michael Stich Foundation was established in 1994. It is recognised as a charitable and non-profit foundation and is committed to helping children infected with HIV, affected by HIV and suffering from AIDS.
Although the number of infected people worldwide is steadily increasing, the disease receives little attention from the media and society. That is why, in 2006, the foundation set itself the task of conducting public prevention and awareness campaigns on the subject of HIV and AIDS.
